Kanchipuram Silk Saree - Handwoven Pure Silk - Pure Zari - PV SRI 3616

A traditional handwoven Kanchipuram saree woven in pure silk and pure zari. The body is in off white - cream, with a contrast korvai border in navy blue with rich gold zari work. The bottom border is large, with a central band of diamond design in pure gold zari, flanked by two layers of annapakshi motifs on top and bottom. The top border is a short one, with a single band of annapakshi motifs in gold zari. The navy blue korvai pallu has a central column of pure zari flanked by twin columns of large annapakshi motifs and rudraksha motifs, while the attached blue blouse has an arm band matching the bottom border of the sari.
