Collection: Linen Saris

Linen is made from fibres of the stalk of the flax plant and as a clothing material, it traces its origins to pre historic Europe during the Neolithic times. The fabric is extremely comfortable to wear in hot and humid conditions as it absorbs and expels moisture fast and is considered a ‘more breathable’ fabric compared to cotton. Due to its superior wicking of moisture, it reduces heat retention and keeps the wearer cool.

Panjavarnam’s linen saris are handwoven using pure linen fibre having a soft and luxuriant texture. We have pure linens with gold or silver zari borders and with embroidery work. Check out our collection of classy and comfortable linen sarees for both formal and casual occasions here.
