A traditional handwoven Kanchipuram saree woven in pure silk and pure zari. The body is in dark purple-maroon with vaira oosi zari stripes running horizontally and bold gold zari stripes running vertically with chakram and annapakshi motifs in gold zari all over the body. The contrast korvai border is in red, with traditional kodivisiri design zari enclosing kamalam motifs. The korvai pallu in red has rich gold zari work, with. central column of geometric diamond motifs flanked by columns of kodi visiri kamalam motfis. The red blouse has an arm band in gold zari matching the sari's border.
