Handwoven traditional design kanjivaram pure silk saree with multi colour checks (paalum pazhamum checks) formed from pink, yellow and green as primary colours all over the body. The checks enclose chakram motifs enclosing creepers and a deer in gold zari, while the rich pallu in hot pink has elaborate traditional motifs of yazhi pairs, peacock pairs and horses flanking a central column of geometric patterns. The korvai border has a pink selvedge and gold zari in chevron pattern.
