A traditional handwoven Kanchipuram saree woven in pure silk and pure zari. The body is in crimson red with fine oosi vaanam vaira oosi zari stripes and floral motifs in gold zari all over. The bottom border has two tiers of traditional yazhi and peacock motifs flanking. a band of bawanchi design in pure gold zari while the top border has a single tier of traditional motifs. The pallu has rich gold zari work featuring a central column of geometric patterns flanked by columns of large yazhi motifs and annapakshi motifs in pure gold zari. The border has an orange selvedge and the attached blouse is in orange with oosi vaanam zari stripes and a gold zari armband matching the sari border.
