A traditional handwoven Kanchipuram saree woven in pure silk and pure zari. The body is in dark brown, with gold zari checks enclosing traditional small chakram motifs and large chakram with peacock motifs in gold zari all over the body. The temple korvai border in cyan has an outer band of gold zari in geometric patterns and an inner band of paisley chain motifs in gold zari with meenakari work in silk thread. The korvai pallu in cyan has rich gold zari work with a central column of diamond design gold zari flanked by banarasi style gold zari with paisley chain motifs having meenakari work. The attached blouse in cyan has an arm band in gold zari matching the sari border.
