A traditional handwoven Kanchipuram saree woven in pure silk and pure zari. The body is in maroon with floral motifs enclosed in muthu kattam vari checks in gold zari all over the body. The border is in pink with a band of orange and gold zari bands of floral motifs with a pink shot green selvedge. The pallu has rich gold zari work with a central column of banarasi style zari flanked by columns of elephant and parrot motifs in traditional designs.The blouse in pink has an arm band matching the sari border.
