Kanchipuram Silk Saree - Handwoven Pure Silk - Pure Zari - PV NYC 50

A traditional handwoven Kanchipuram saree woven in pure silk and pure zari. The body is in green with gold zari floral butties all over the body and a red korvai red with a red shot green selvedge. The border has two bands of zari- an outer band in banarasi style and an inner band with elephant and horse motifs in gold zari, separated by a red shot green band of silk. The grand pallu in red has rich gold zari work in geometric patterns in traditional designs flanked by columns of horses and elephant motifs and the attached blouse in red has a zari arm band matching the sari's border.
