A traditional handwoven Kanchipuram saree woven in pure silk and pure zari with ganga jamuna border. The body is in bottle green with annapakshi, kamalam and kolam motifs in yellow silk thread in a grid all over the body. The border is in maroon with a green selvedge and has a band of gold zari with annapakshi and chakram motifs while the grand pallu is in black, with a central column of maiyil kan motifs in a geometric pattern flanked by columns of annapakshi motifs in traditional designs with rudraksha chain motifs separating the columns. The attached blouse in black has a zari arm band for the sleeve matching the sari border.
