Mulberry Silk Sarees are woven with yarn harvested from the silk worms on the mulberry tree. This yarn is the purest form of silk used in several weaving clusters in South India. The most popular amongst them being kanchipuram silk sarees, dharmavaram silk sarees, arani silk sarees, thirubhuvanam silk sarees, gadwal silk sarees and pochampally silk sarees. The yarn is usually dyed and double twisted before using on the warp or weft of the saree.
